Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Stickd (“the Service”) is an AI-powered gymnastics scoring and coaching platform operated by Stickd (“we,” “us,” or “our”). The Service allows users to upload gymnastics routine videos, receive AI-generated scoring analysis based on USAG and FIG Code of Points rules, view detailed deduction breakdowns, and access personalized corrective drill recommendations.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. Accounts for users under 18 must be created by or with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

The Service offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis at our discretion. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice.

If you subscribe through our iOS app, payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Apple's standard End User License Agreement (EULA) applies to your use of the app. Any refund requests for in-app purchases must be directed to Apple.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
  • Upload videos that do not depict gymnastics routines or that contain content unrelated to the intended purpose of the Service
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or derive source code from the Service
  • Use the Service to develop competing products or services
  • Circumvent usage limits, access controls, or security measures
  • Share account credentials or allow unauthorized access to your account
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our prior written consent

6. Video Content and Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of all videos, images, and content you upload to the Service (“User Content”). By uploading User Content, you grant Stickd a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process, analyze, store, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This license terminates when you delete your User Content or close your account, except that we may retain anonymized, aggregated data derived from your content for service improvement purposes.

You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to upload your User Content and that it does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights. If you upload videos of minors, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian of such individuals, or that you have obtained consent from their parent or legal guardian.

7. AI Analysis Disclaimer

The AI-generated scores, deduction analyses, and drill recommendations provided by the Service are estimates intended for training and educational purposes only. They are not official competition scores and should not be treated as such. AI analysis may contain errors or inaccuracies. The Service is not a substitute for professional coaching, judging, or medical advice.

Scores generated by the Service are based on our interpretation of USAG and FIG Code of Points rules, but may not reflect the exact evaluation that would be given by certified judges at a competition. We make no guarantee that the deductions, start values, or final scores match any official scoring outcome.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Stickd and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service.

Stickd shall not be liable for any injuries, physical harm, or damages resulting from exercises, drills, or training activities performed based on recommendations from the Service. Users assume all risk associated with physical training activities. Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. We will make reasonable efforts to delete your data within 30 days of a verified deletion request, subject to any legal retention requirements.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Stickd and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting a notice on the Service or sending an email to the address associated with your account. Changes become effective upon posting unless otherwise specified.
